SUV Slams Through Building In DC

D.C. Fire and Emergency Services worked to remove a car that drove into a building on Friday, July 22, officials said.

Fire crews reported to the 2600 block of Virginia Avenue, where the Subaru Forester had driven into the building, D.C. Fire and EMS reported.

Officials stabilized the vehicle to safely remove the driver, who declined further medical treatment, authorities said.

Another driver was transported to a nearby hospital for non-life threatening injuries, fire officials said.

D.C. Fire and EMS said there were no structural integrity issues with the building.
